Well, so be it. Sometimes reading books and writing reviews just isn't enough and one has to write something more. My first blog post will be about my reading plans for this year.
I'm not good with reading plans, because I never follow them (God forbid, complete them) after I make them, yet since my last major one (for the ...In Death reading marathon) went so well...I actually stuck to it and finished the entire series (from book one to book who-knows-what-number-but-it-was-high) in a little over three months.
I did it and I was happy for getting up to date with everything...I also got a little fed up with the characters, but that particular side-effect was easily forgotten.
It [the ...In Death reading marathon] wasn't the only series-reading marathon I "performed" in my reading history, but it was the longest...And most arduous to date.
I also did the Karen Rose and the Psy-Changeling series back to back a few years ago. Neither was a chore. 😉
So I'm once more full of plans.
To begin, I'm thinking of going "small" with the Highlander series by Karen Marie Moning, and slowly work my way to Christine Feehan's Carpathians (maybe not all of it, since I didn't like the last few installments in the series, but I definitely want to revisit the first few volumes), Leopards (also by Feehan), which I have yet to sink my fangs into *pun not intended*), only to move into the world(s) of the Dark-Hunters and The League.
And lest I forget, the long-awaited Cassie Sinclair book will be released later this year and I need to brush up on the Breeds.
The plans are set (not in stone, mind you), I'll just need to see if I can stick by them.
Reading goals:
CARPATHIAN SERIES (not in its entirety) by Christine Feehan
LEOPARD SERIES by Christine Feehan
DARK-HUNTERVERSE (DARK-HUNTER, WERE-HUNTER, DREAM-HUNTER, and LORDS OF AVALON SERIES) by Sherrilyn Kenyon
THE LEAGUE: NEMESIS RISING SERIES by Sherrilyn Kenyon
BREED SERIES (#17—) by Lora Leigh
