Super short (three chapters) with not enough story, or back story to actually make much sense. He was poor, he wanted to marry her, her cousin sent him packing, told her he was only after her money. He went to war, came back, got jealous, started gambling, lost everything, she went to see him...

We don't know if it ended in a HEA, really. Did they get married despite the difference in their social standings? Did they just bang against the wall? What the hell happened?!

It didn't feel complete.
