I have no idea what this story was supposed to be, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't supposed to be all over the place.

On one side you have an asshole of a hero who got a second chance in life, but the message got a little lost in translation. He realized life was short and decided to live it to the fullest, but lived it to the fullest being a conceited asshole. Because apparently every dead friend wants his still-living friend to live life for the dead friend as well by f***ing as many women as possible, running from one part of the globe to the other (what would've happened if the hero wasn't a billionaire and wouldn't be able to afford all his jet setting? No to mention women would not have flocked to him like they do to a billionaire.), living fast and dangerous while at the same time claiming he wasn't courting death.

On the other side we have a rather bland heroine, a therapist using her vast experience with loss (she lost her parents in a car crash when she was sixteen) to council teenagers in their grief (news flash, everybody grieves differently!), and, despite her professionalism, drooling over the asshole hero, while trying to convince him to let her join him on his dangerous adventures. The first stop to the adventure, naturally being, the asshole hero's bedroom...

So we have a rather PWP setting, a very Harlequin-like development (they suddenly have feelings for each other, after one night of meaningless, or at least that's how I read the particular scene, sex), they find each other again, then she gets to meet the parents who tried to hire her as a grief councilor to the asshole at the beginning of the story, the asshole gets angry, the idiot woman gets upset, there's a near death experience...

And we're supposed to believe all that?! Take all in stride?! I mean, okay, it's Romancelandia, but come on!

Predictable, completely out there in terms of plot, all over the place, with bland characters...and riddled with typos.
