Allie Whirlwind is well versed in the arts of the unexplained and has been known to see ghosts. But when she comes home to find a warning in red paint: This Is For Daniel, she knows she's dealing with a flesh-and-blood predator.

Daniel Deer Runner was a military man and Allie's best friend—until the injury he incurred saving her life left him with amnesia—and no memory of their attraction. As they search for clues to her stalker, forgotten memories surface...and unstoppable passion sparks. Yet someone out there will kill to keep Daniel from falling for Allie again....

My rating:

Sorry to say I didn’t get beyond the fourth chapter with this one. I did read the last one, but that certainly didn’t inspire me to continue reading.

For one, it was obviously a continuation of an established story. The author even mentioned a 2006 release featuring Allie and Daniel that started their romance. Then the guy jumped in front of a bullet for her and developed amnesia. Buh-bye romance.
I didn’t get half of the things they were talking about in the four chapters I read. The other half mentioned a mother that was a witch (hence bad) and a serial killer to boot, a shape shifting former lover that (in the previous book) Allie and Daniel helped go into the Apache Underworld to be with his dead wife, Daniel’s former lover that was both a cougar and hated Allie etc. etc. etc.

I’m still reeling.
