Three angels are sent down to bring good to the world: Gabriel, the warrior; Ivy, the healer; and Bethany, a teenage girl who is the least experienced of the trio. But she is the most human, and when she is romantically drawn to a mortal boy, the angels fear she will not be strong enough to save anyone—especially herself—from the Dark Forces.

Is love a great enough power against evil?

My rating:

Well, it was much a little too long for comfort and the writing style needed some getting used to, but it wasn’t as bad as I feared. A bit too preachy at times, but at least it didn’t have that usual young-adult-y feel. I’m not sure I’ll read the rest of this trilogy, but I guess many YA authors could learn something from Ms. Adornetto.
